Onion dyed eggs with herb and letter print

This is a way to naturally dye Easter eggs using onion peels. I wanted the eggs to have a print or a letter.

You will need: eggs, herbs, tights, onion peels, a pot, scissors

I placed the eggs into a pre-cut piece of tight, inside between the tight and the egg shell I put the herbs or the letters that I cut out of basil leaves. I then bound the tight tightly so that the herbs wouldn’t move and cooked the eggs in water with onion peels. After the eggs came to the boil I cooked them on a low heat for around 10-15 minutes – the longer the darker they will become.
